Windows Activator 2026 — How KMS, HWID and Ohook Actually Work

It is a tool that completes Windows activation without entering a purchased product key — usually by emulating a KMS server locally or by registering a hardware-tied digital licence (HWID). It does not patch Windows itself; it drives the built-in licensing service.

HWID gives a permanent digital licence that survives clean reinstalls but only works on retail-eligible editions. KMS gives a renewable 180-day lease and covers LTSC, IoT and Server. Ohook is the Office equivalent. Pick by edition, not by brand name.
